As you can tell by the smiles on faces, we had a fun time on Friday, carving pumpkins with the kids. Sarah, Lain and the kids came from Centerville for the four-day break and we decided to have a good time and take advantage of every minute that we could. Gavin was almost the first one done. He is a busy kid. He wants to make sure that he gets to do everything before time to go home.

They got to design their own. Abbie just watched each cousin doing their thing and really wanted to dig in too.

Campbell has a bigger, toothier grin than his pumpkin. All weekend long, he would go out on the porch and make sure it was okay and would arrange it so his was in front. He was so proud. Sarah told him there was no room in the van for them to take them home and he was heartbroken. He is so tenderhearted. Campbell, Grandma is taking good care of it for you. Hope mom will do some more with you now that you are home.

Grandpa seems to see a resemblance between Mason and his pumpkin---Can you?

Preston, too!!!

It's kind of eerie what a likeness the pumpkins have to their creators! Savannah always has a great big smile.

Adam's Jack O' Lantern takes on the look of the Hunchback (not even going to attempt to spell that one).

Lain playing football with the boys with Abbie right in the middle of things. She is happiest when she is outside.

I know which one gets my vote for cutest pumpkin. Abbie!!!!

Don't you just want to eat him up? I mean McKay!!

Olivia (Livvy) is so proud. She loves coming to Grandma's. She just reminds me so much of Meggie when she was a little girl. Isn't she pretty?

Mr. Mischief!! You just always know Camden is cooking up trouble somewhere.
I just know for a fact that I have the cutest kids and grandkids around!
Meg and Malinda came up on Friday so that Dean could study for mid-terms. We had all four girls and ten grandkids at the same time. It seems to be a rarity these days now that everyone is getting older and lives are busier.
This is the year for all the girls and their families to spend Thanksgiving with the in-laws so I made a turkey dinner on Saturday so we could have a make-shift holiday together. No pies though. They were too much trouble. Saturday night most of us got to go to Olive Garden for dinner. Jaime had to work and we got a babysitter for the kids. I think we all enjoyed the whole weekend. I know I did. This is when I realize that I am truly blessed and there is so much to be thankful for.
